Topic: Loading pauses. (Page 1 of 1)

I'm finding that a lot of sites stall out about two-thirds through the loading process. About two-thirds based on the IE load indicator. Also the lights on the cable modem stop flashing. Often...but not always if I wait long enough the page will load. However if I click the 'stop' button in IE when the load has stalled.. more often than not the full page will immediately load. IE is version 6.0
Anybody know what's going on here? It's very frustrating.
