Hello all,
I was wondering how would one go about setting a flag that would let the browser know not to cache this web page, nor save it in history.

Reason for this is that I am a volunteer at a women's shelter, and the people going to that website might not want their abusers to know that they are seeking help, and might not be computer-savvy enough or rigorous enough to erase their history and cache every time they browse the web.

Thanks
-D

shite good idea but I don't think it can be done

here's a little tute but while it may keep the page from being cached I don't think it will kill the history settings.

Just off the top of my head I would have to say that I don't think history killing can be done from a website. It may be possible, but I've never heard of it.

You might want to offer detailed information on how to cover one's electronic traces instead. Just straightforward stuff, with instructions for each of the various browsers out there.
