Hello,
I don't understand why empty-cells:show is not showing empty cells...
I have lates IE 6 browser...
I have put up a test page. Would you have a look and see if I'm doing something wrong.

empty cells don't render in a couple of browsers. The time tested method of getting around this is to put a space in the cell using the ASCII char code <td>&nbsp;</td>

The downside of that is that it the space takes up the height of a character so if you want cells with really small heights you need to set the font size down to something tiny (like 1px)

I believe it's an IE flaw that it doesn't respect the empty-cells property.

By the way, just FYI, <xmp> is long deprecated, use <pre> instead.
