First thing I'd try would be padding:0px; inside the #right CSS block. Alright, after using my javascript favelet to try that out, it didn't work. ... Well, I've put red borders around everything on the page, and I can't figure out why it's not working right. But here's what I'd try, in this order: 1. remove the <?xml...?> declaration from the top. While legal, it's not required, and it causes IE 6 to (mistakenly) ignore the doctype, so it doesn't switch into standards mode. 2. remove all whitespace inbetween tags, starting with the more problematic places (like between the "right" image and the ending </div> tag). Beyond that, I'm not sure what to tell you. The space *above* the "right" image is strange, and seems to be caused somehow by the "head" image (notice that, in IE 6, if you select the "head" image, 2 pixels of blackness below it is simultaneously selected. That leads me to believe that it's the culprit).
