UBB Help
DmS, I'll address your question, if I may. The
tag is, by no means, the same as the
tag in yesteryear. When I say that, I mean that the 'p' in the current-day
tag does not mean 'paragraph.' I don't know what it means, but we can't think of it like that. It's more like a block than anything else. Which is to say if a header element is *meant* to be in a block, it's fine to put it in there. *I* wouldn't suggest it, as spiders organize content reading first by header elements, then paragraph elements, then strong/em elements, in much the same way Microsoft Word does (which annoys me to no end, because I never use the damn styles when I'm writing a report, and I hate that it's telling me what the structure of my paper is, because it's always wrong...but that's for later). Additionally, text-browsers organize in much the same way. To screw with that is to invite sadness. Now, as for what Drac pointed to in his code, *I* would not suggest doing it that way. *I* would suggest using
elements rather than
elements, because
elements are meant for single-line-breaks. When you use two in a row, you're using a
...
block, only without the cleanliness of code.
elements are, in my opinion, best used for putting an image up top, and text directly below...and they should always be used in
...
blocks. ...So, uhh...Who wants pie?
