Anyone on this board messing around with xForms? I stumbled upon these last night, searching for a way to post XML to the server from a client side form. Anyone have any tips on doing this? I see that I can do this whith Javascript, by instantiating the XML DOM and so on... I'm looking for a more pure way to post the XML to the server. So far it seems that the textarea element is the only element I can load an XML doc into for posting... in the pure sense, this isn't so bad except that the textarea element is visible to the client... I could hide the element using CSS (not as pure as I'd like). What I'd really like to do: Place an XML data island between between <form> and </form> hit submit a viola, I have posted XML. Errr... but that doesn't work.
