At this point it's not needed but it's more "proper". =) Easy way to satisfy this and not worry about changing colors later is to specify the background-color as 'transparent' or the color as 'inherit' - depending on which is "missing". that way when you change colors elsewhere in your style sheet, you don't have to update them to match.
