hello again,

just wondering. I am planning on implementing a javascript on a web page to check screen size and then load the proper style sheet. in the style sheet it will indicate the proper file name of a background image to load.

I am wondering if I can leave all the other css, such as text size and fonts and whatnot, in the html page, and together the two stylesheets will work together. Or should I just put everything in the style sheet that gets loaded?

thanks much everyone!

Eric001: I'd recommend you place all the styles that don't change into one external style sheet and then do the swap just between stylesheets containing the background image style (how you do this depends on the switcher you use). This seems a good idea for any switcher - you might want to keep the structure the same but change the colours so extract those styles to a static CSS file.
