Although SVG specification looks impressive, the end-result depends on what library/plug-in/whatever you use to render SVG images. BTW One of the things that first come to my mind regarding SVG is that you can use [url=http://librsvg.sourceforge.net/theme.php]SVG icons[/url] in Gnome desktop environment (which uses LibRSVG for SVG rendering). Having vector based icons in desktop environment looks very nice...
