www.thespacebetweenus.com - i put up another stylesheet. It isn't really a useable interface though, it's more a simple CSS demo what you can do with a page when you do a css only design. I know that there are a lot of better ones out there, I.E. csszengarden or slimeland.....i just thought i would like to post my try.

Oooh, that's nice. A couple of suggestions:

- Add a few (5 to 20) pixels of padding at the bottom of the content area below the copyright notice
- Try setting the background color of the content area to white, so that when the body's background overlaps with the content, you can't see through it (that's just a personal preference I guess)
- You might consider making headlines closer to black to add contrast

POV-Ray renders always work nicely as page backgrounds, don't they? =)

For your style switcher I found a nifty little tut at Alistapart on how to build one that relies only on php. It's pretty cool and only about 5 lines of code. People will still need cookies enabled to come back to the style they pick but they won't have to have JS turned on.

krets: If people are surfing with JS switched off they probably aren't worried if they can't access a stylesheet switcher

However, if you are relaoding the page anyway then you might as well use PHP - I'd use JS to change the stylesheet without relaoding the page.
