...on my wallpapers page.

I'm trying to convert a table layout I use on a page of wallpapers that looks like zees.

I'm using a technique from alistapart found here.

My problem is that the floated divs are wrapping at the right side of the browser window instead of the right side of my container div. They're not being nice little floaters. The experiment can be found:
http://www.11oh1.net/wallpaper/walltest.php <-- Here

As you can see, the floaters aren't wrapping where I want them to.

Any help on would be appreciated. This is the last page of my site that I'm trying to convert solely to XHTML/CSS so I'm really working to get this done.

Thanks all.

Actually, for me, using Mozilla 1.3.1, the first link to your wallpaper page showed the thumbnails exceeding the container's width.....

But the second "test" link showed them wrapping properly at the edge of the container......

Maybe it's an IE thing in the way I've laid out that div. I have the margin-right specified and then a width: auto so the div fills whatever space it needs to.

Hmmmm....

EDIT: Yep, just looked at it in Firebird and it works poifectly. Weird.

Works in Opera as well....

So it seems like you've found another nice IE bug

Haven't really had time to look through the code....

off hand I can't really guess why it would do this. I am sure it is fixable though!

When I get more time I'll see if I can help...
