Topic: *sigh* css layout isn't working in ie 5

well, it seems to be working in everything but ie 5. Any help?

I no longer have ie5 available to test with, so I can't see the problem. I would assume, however, that we are dealing with ie5.x's misinterpretation of the box model which causes it to mis-render all boxes containing margins and/or padding.

Also, do a search for "box model hack"

IE 5 doesn't handle margin: auto.

great link I've found this to be a little easier :

body {text-align: center;}

.container { text-align: left;}

works in IE 5 just great.
