Ok, so for a few years now, all of my scripts have worked quite decently on windows, with a few troubles on some Mac browsers, but other than that, all windows browsers could access my pages without a problem. ...Now, since Firefox and the latest Mozilla builds, something smells: is it on my pc only? I don't know, but it's... driving me crazy. All of my websites, from www.colombus.com to www.beyondwonderland.com, have a serious visibility problem in the new Mozilla family browsers. So I said to myself: styles are declared as classes, ... some inline css declarations are there, but they shouldn't affect the whole rendering process. I then tried to remove the "visibility: hidden;" attribute I've been used to using, but no go: it's just as if scripts started normally, but the browsers forgot to render div elements. I checked my xhtml for validity, and non url-encoded urls (things like ?mozilla=crap&firefox=obnoxious) are the only defect. I don't get javascript errors. I don't get it. At all. I know that there are a lot of Mozilla lovers out there, in respect for them I'll change my code once again, but can a browser with an implementation of javascript that changes in every new build be called reliable? And anyway, I need help on this one: either a solution, or black pills :) [This message has been edited by InI (edited 02-20-2004).]
