hi there

i've been on skiing-holidays with my brother and i took some movies with a digital videocamera. now i want to add some background music and some special effects to the movie. anyone know a good programm to do that?
i tried the microsoft movie maker which comes with winME but i doesn't support the high quality i need

Adobe Premiere 5 all the way.

You can get some great Transitions and special effects
plugins like Boris FX and Hollywood Efects.

man, seems like every month or so there is an upgrade or patch to these apps.

I've stuck with 4.2.1...never quite got used to the dual editing window thing. Just love Premiere tho.

The best around IMO is Final Cut Pro. Same layout as Premiere but way more options including blue/green screen compositing(not that you might need it). Might cost a few though.
