Topic: Can't get streaming music to stop! (Page 1 of 1)

Okay, I've read the tuts on both the Macromedia Flash help thingy, and the web-site at Macromedia . . . Well, anyway, I inserted a streaming sound clip about 4 seconds long,a nd told it to repeat about 60 times. The tut says to insert a keyframe at the desired location, select the sound from the list, and tell it to "stop" - well, it doesn't stop, and it keeps playing over the next sound clip, (on a different layer).

Anyone have experience getting streaming/repeating sound clips to stop playing? Thanks!

Did you try "Stop all sounds"?

Yup, but then the next sound wouldn't start playing. It's okay, I just decided not to have the third sound clip, and cut the thing off earlier - it works. BTW - check my new resume opener page in the above topic I posted!
