Hey,
I'm really new to broadcasting evens live over the internet. And I was wondering if anyone of you could help me out with some questions that I have.
Okay, first, is it possibly recieve a live broadcast with Window's media player? I know it is possible with Real Player, but I'm looking for something a little different. My second question is, where I can learn to do stuff like broadcasting over the internet? Is there site someplace or some sort of literature that could help me out?

just because i've recently came across that topic too...
at this link you can download the windows media encoder which lets you make streamin wmv-movies. also live!
