Topic: Import to Flash (Page 1 of 1)

In my flash movies when ever i import from photoshop to flash it leaves a white background around the picture even when the background was tranparent in photoshop. For now I am just erasing the backgrounds.
Is there anyway to import the picture into flash without it bringing in the background?

What are you importing as? For best results I'd import PNGs into Flash, they've also got an alpha channel if you want to have transparency around your object.

Yep. Have your graphic on a transparent layer above the background. Either delete the background or turns it's visibility off. "Save For Web", selecting PNG. Should give you a sweet alpha channel that provides very clean edge transparency. See if that helps.

Thanks for the help. This adds a lot to my movie now that everything dosn't have a funny looking white boarder.
