That is not only possible, but I got functions made for it. About the wacom driver, you'll need a port of the driver to the format you prefer. I'd choose Java (you'll get crazy trying to do this with Flash), but Shockwave would do it as well. But it is possible also, probably already exists (there are thousands of hidden java wonders). Such an app should be granted rights (Yes/No box once, when you enter the app for 1st time) to handle wacom drivers on the client, but it's not a huge work (not even to make a custom Wacom to Java driver, pretty "easy"). And of course, it wouldn't have anything to do with shockwave, or other plug-ins, no long download, no heavy stuff, let me find a demo of Java JNI... Loading...
