hey Flashers!

I am trying to make an animation of a boy walking up to a set of doors and then opening them. I have never done anything like this before, so I think the end result is still too ametuer. Do any of you have any suggestions for me.

The poster has demanded we remove all his contributions, less he takes legal action.
We have done so.
Now Tyberius Prime expects him to start complaining that we removed his 'free speech' since this message will replace all of his posts, past and future.
Don't follow his example - seek real life help first.

Hmmm.... Perspective would seem to be your main problem here as InI said but there are other problems too. His 'gate' seems to be way off and after watching the sequence numerous times I think *part* of the problem is the arm movement. It's almost as if he's putting his left arm and leg forward at the same time. We're not just talking about the being out of step here... there's something way off there.

The feet and shoes are also an issue. In the final few steps it's almost as if he climbs an invisible step...then the shoes vanish and he has bare feet for a moment. (hey what can I tell ya... it's early... haven't had my 'pot' of coffeee yet!)

Over all it's a pretty decent first effort... don't be discouraged... watch some saturday morning cartoons... lots of examples there. <bg>

First: this is very cool! Great job so far.

Three comments:
1) The "crease" in his pants leg seems to happen at the wrong time: when his leg is straight. Wouldn't it be more realistic for the pants to wrinkle when his leg is bent?
2) The shadow doesn't connect with his feet at the point when he reaches the door. Seems as if there's a glass floor, or that he's levitating.
3) He seems to glide backwards as the door opens.

Thanks for all of the advise. I think that it will REALLY help when I start on version 2.

Thanks Again,
