When I try to import an eps from Illustrator10 in to Flash it crashes! IF I save the eps as an older Illustrator (7 or 8) I get it to import, but my letters in the logo are changed and somtimes the colors are wrong. Any help please?

flash and illustrator don't play well together unfortunately. make sure you're running the updated version of illustrator too (10.0.3 i think). also make sure all your paths are closed in illustrator, you don't have extra/hidden lines or shapes, etc., just make the artwork as clean as possible.

i've had the best luck exporting from illustrator as an swf, then importing that file into flash. you still may find a glitch or two tho. good luck...

I design all my flash work in Illustrator. It works great.

As Fig said, you need to export your document from Illustrator 10 to the .swf format. In illustrator go to File > Export..., select "Macromedia Flash(*.SWF)" from the dropdown menu and name the file. Import this new .swf into Flash.

If you used Illustrator's transparency features you will have bunch of new graphic symbols with their alpha set accordingly, but otherwise there are no real problems.

Going back is completly @$#$ed. The colors are screwed up and its alot of work to fix flash graphics in Illustrator.
