Are you trying to make animated gif in Flash? Not the way I would do it, but what you do is:

File > Export Movie

Choose the animated gif option from on the bottom. It should work.

If you just want a gif of a spot in your movie choose Export Image from the file menu.

Or are you trying export flash button to a gif? In that case all you will get is the up state of the button. The button states for Flash buttons require the movie to be played in the flash player(though I think there's some support in the quicktime player). If you want rollovers on your site you will need to use .swfs or javascript and images.

Thanks a lot. It worked well. I was just trying to make gif-file to make roll-over button.
I wanted to use Flash to create gif file to do so. Becase I have not got any vector based software at that time.
Thanks for your sharing time with me.
I appreciate that.
Have a good weekend.

Also, if you want to make it transparent, here is a great tutorial. I have not had much luck with transparent flash tho, it always ends up looking like it has been resized really badly (but has not been resized at all).
