I'm assuming something like filling outlined areas of a drawing with color?

Sorry - haven't seen any Flash examples. They probably exist, I just haven't run across any.

Emps: I think Quasimondo was the first person to make a page-turn example to that degree, at the very least he provides the source code here:

*sigh*

Please take the time to explain yourself clearly, obviously we don't understand what your talking about. If we don't understand you, how can we provide helpful answers?

Remember, this forum covers a very large range of things and even the combination of "Flash" "FLA"" and "Colouring Book" can add up to mean just about anything reallky. You're going to need to get quite specific so that we can provide specific answers as opposed to what you currently have, which is 5 posts of people trying to guess what you're on about.

I think he means that he has an outline drawing and he wants to paint the cells in? Maybe an interactive thing....

That's what I assumed in the third post of this thread. You have a drawing made of black outlines and through some sort of paint bucket interface you flood the white areas with color. Right sort of? Sheesh. Testy people in these parts lately.

And, though I've seen that sort of thing done, I can't say I've ever seen it done in Flash. I'll keep thinking, but don't hold out much hope. I don't think Flash can think in terms of outlines and the area inside. You could make each section a movieclip and then colorize each clip/section, but that would be a LOT of effort it it's a complex drawing.

Yes, i have some drawings in flash.I want a palette on the screen and i will define areas that can be painted in desired color. It will be for children. I think i must make the paintable areas movieclips. There must be a paint tool to choose the color. When clicked on the area it will change the color.

I thougt that there can be some similar examples, i would like to look.

Thanks for your attention, my english is not so good sorry.
