I'm having problems with snap to grid. I hit the snap button, and it works fine when I'm using the cut, or dragging vertices. But when I drag the whole object, it doesn't snap. any idea's on my problem?

gmax is basically the same thing as 3dsmax except for a few key features (like render). But, I use the snap options on the bottom of the screen, just not all the things snap like I would want them to, I guess it really doesn't matter much, I'm just paranoid about keeping things neat and orderly I guess. I'll just have to make more use of the key in comands for objects size and posission.

If you right-click on the transform (move) button, it brings up a numeric entry dialog. I often use that to put an item exactly where I want it.

This assumes it functions like Max, of course. I assume it would, since it's a basic function.
