simple question this one: how can i change the colour of nurbs surfaces [in 3d studio max 3.1], i've been trying but i've only been able to change the colour of the whole nurbs curve/surface object i can't figure out how to change the colour of surfaces within the main object. anyone got any ideas? |

Right click and select Properties. In the upper-right of the dialogue, you can change the colour of the surface. But this only changes it for the editor. |

Yeah, I've been wondering about them there NURBS...what particularly do they come in handy for? |

what are nurbs usefull for? not sure, they're not really 'cool' anymore in the 3dworld. all the big names seem to use maya's subdivision surfaces. |
