i know that certain statements in java can throw certain exceptions.

so is it really necessary that you always catch this specific exception or can you also throw the standard exception to get the error message?

ok, thanks.

so what is the better way to throw:

} catch (Exception e) {
System.out.println("... "+e.getMessage());
}

or

catch(Exception e)
{
throw new Exception("... "+e.getMessage());
}
