Hey all I'm running the phpdev package for testing at home. Right now I run the included batch file to start and stop the server.

Does anyone know how to get this to start and stop on boot without the annoying popup command window?

To make it start at computer boot, simply create a shortcut to that batch file in Startup programs group. Now, depending on Windows version (this doesn't seem to exist on XP), when you go to properties dialog of that shortcut, you'll see an option entitlend "Close this window when done" (I don't remember under which tab it's located, so you'll have to go through all of them) which should be checked, and window will be closed when finished automatically...
