The best perl webmail app that I've used is Gossamer Mail. It should be able to do everything you want and then some. It's not free, good luck finding something like this for free. |

Ok, well thanks guys those apps look great, but I have no money and don't feel like ripping them off at the moment. I could use a php based solution, or infact i think i could use a webmail program that uses any of the usual linux apache type scripting languages. |

lallous: ok i think openwebmail looks good enough and does all i need it too, trouble is I don't have a clue how to install it! I found a garbled txt file on the website that seems to suggest it may be the installation instructions but jesus christ, it's really bloody confusing! I don't even have a cgi-bin, my host lets me run cgi files from any directory, I'm so confused. And why is it 14mb? what can I cut out that i don't need? all the language packs presumably (i only need english), plus I think the sounds are probably unnecessary too. |
