I'm having a bit of a hard tim with a SQL situation, and cant seem to wrap my head around a 'whats wrong with this statement?

Basicly, I have a table for room reservations, the relevant fields to this problem are arrival date and departure date.

The table looks something like

yep you're backwards

arrival <= 5/3 <-- arrive before 5/3
depart >= 5/3 <-- leaves after 5/3

heh read slowly

I do know for a fact, that there are currently entires in the table that have a ( arrival ) date starting at/after 5/3/2004, and have the departure date at or before 5/3/2004
