I was thinking that we could go one further and let people edit what they want to see in those panels (to a certain extent) and this could then be stored in their profile (or they could select how many panels they want and which ones, etc.). It should all be fairly easy to do if people thought that was a good idea (I'll see if I can find an example - it was something I've been thinking of doing but never got around to).
