This is, as stated in the topic, my first official try at making a signature. Until the Asylum, I never really posted much on message boards (boring nonsense - what was the point? now, at least, it's coding nonsense). This is also my first try at doing anything with a perspective in Photoshop. I dunno. I like it, but if it really bothers people here, I'll scrap it and try to come up with something more interesting.

I find it kinda hard to read. Also, Do the colors go with Asylum's?

I thought that the colours did go with Asylum. You don't think so?
What colours would you change to match it better?
When you say hard to read, do you mean the perspective or the font or something else?

Thanks.
(EDIT: by the way, I wanted it to look a bit like it was on the wing of a bird, in motion, so to speak)

i rather like it...though the 'mind' part does draw a lot off attention. As a graphic i like it, but it is a bit distracting for a sig. Maybe make it a bit darker and 75% from it's original size. But if you like it this way leave it as it is.

Okay, now for something completely different. This sig concept is rather addictive, I think.

I'll keep working on the wing sig, too.
Thanks for the input.

I like the second one much better. Although it is a little tall, you could size it down a bit. Or... Tip it on it's side, punch a whole in the top, and have soup in a puddle on the ground. I don't know...Whatever you want to do though.

those are two fantastic efforts.

they are both very unique, and i really like 'em.

first one lacks legibility, and R2th makes some good points.

second one... cfb makes sense there.

but overall, excellent efforts. no overfiltering, no sigstealing, minimal jaggies. a commendable result.

Taking a look at the wing sig to see if there are any jaggies after adjusting the perspective.

Grrr. Not yet. Be back in a few with a better version soon.

Don't mind me. I am just acclimating to the temperature of the water in this kiddie pool.

I am having a real pop culture moment lately. I am sure it won't last.

I know this one is too big for a reasonable sig, but I couldn't really shrink it without losing some effect. So, since this is just a learning experience, here it is.

I kind of like the Campbell can...

...but you need to fix those jaggies.

Thanks, Nimraw. I had the wrong matte colour it appears. Hopefully that helped with some of the jaggies. I am a real beginner at this, so any advice is truly appreciated!

I feel the soup can is your best effort.

The bird wing is blurry and the hand gun is way to0 jaggie and appears to have a matting problem.

The barbie doll could work if you changed the background .
