It looks pretty nice actually. I'd suggest putting a black border around it though, just to make it look a bit cleaner.

First of all, welcome here Silver-Dragon

Your signature is really nice and very clean, I like it. However, people here generally respect "guidelines" about the signatures. See :FAQ:. These are not absolute guidelines, but I think it would be better to respect them.

The size of yours (385 kb) will get you killed very soon... It is far too big. I assume you know how to play with it since you created it, so I wo'nt detail further about reducing the size. Just a little suggestion : reducing the whole size (to something like 75%) would help.

Like CFB said, put a border around it or blur the edges, right now it is (too much) rectangular

And last of all, there is a little jump at the end of the animation... Try to correct it.

Very good work anyway.

PS : everyone likes to make Matrix effects nowadays...

If you made it a little smaller (with a resize and maybe a little cropping too) then you could get away with having more frames, making the animation smoother.

Aside from the size and animation issues the others have already mentioned, it seems that you didn't use the bmatrix symbols, all I see are squares.. For the symbols, I think you can get them from the posters on http://whatisthematrix.warnerbros.com .

If anybody would like a high res scan of the bmatrix symbols just email me. I have a full page add for the "Enter the Matrix" game that has a ton of them on it. L8R

After making a few tries myself, and looking for tutorials, I think that the best tutorial is the one in Asylum's FAQ.
But of course, the best tutorial you could ever find is in your own experimentation

psst! - Only a few of them are squares, the rest are rectangles, but you can clump them all together by just referring to them as "quadrilaterals".

You could try this for a more realistic Matrix effect.

I think the matte color is wrong. Its particularly noticeable on the darker background. Its either that, or you're using too much of the matte color as your "shadow." Other than that, I like it.

Well, I definitely like the second one better, but, um, it looks more like gold. Maybe it's just me, but wouldn't a silver color be more appropriate?

There's no law that says it has to match the forum--if all sigs "matched the forum," we'd have very little variety. As long as it doesn't clash outright with the color scheme you should be OK. Don't let your creativity be stifled.

is that realy the font used for the matrix code? it looks more like japanese letters and some backwards numbers

If you look closely at the Matrix code, you'll see that it is just a bunch of Japanese letters and backwards numbers... I imagine they did it so it would look more exotic (ie, less familiar).

well I have no idea if it is "the" font they used, but it is darn close.
but as Suho said, if you look closely, I do think it is Japanese

Ow... this one is a bit painful. It's also a bit hard to see, and would be even more so at a smaller size.
