Getting a white halo, and the orange is a little on the darkside at least on my cal 2.2 gamma, 6500k (daylight) calibrated monitor.

To get rid of the white halo and still used transparency, set your "matte" color in Photoshop's Save For Web to #2B0404 it's the average of the two background colors for the asylum.

The orange is something around: #FC6203, A search of the FAQ might turn up an offical value. or I guess you could always check the source.

Make it special. It's your identity. I like the idea. I especiall ylike that you can actually decipher "GeekThing" in the BG text.

Well, I can hardly see it. I'm not sure how this monitor is calibrated (not mine), but it comes out as nothing more than a faint sillhouette. Definitely make it bit brighter.

Whee... Everyone loves matting on two different backgrounds... Neat sig. You greek or is it just the screen name?

mhm normally i am not a fan of these total visible layer effects, but i think it looks pretty nice on this one. i would leave it this way
