I also really like Amerasu's ones. They are original and well designed sigs.
Moth's one is also pretty cool with the moths on the shield.

Considering that I was a day late in posting mine...

uh, Tao? Isn't it about time to choose a winner so we can get on with April's contest?
(This was a good subject, I had an interesting time researching my family crests to choose symbols that actually related to my ancestral families! I did just miss it though... I ought to pay more attention to that forum!)

my research of the project started with a lesson from a friend who's own interests includes knowledge of heraldry. the rules of heraldry apply in many places, but not all.. except the fanatics get quite up in uproar if you use a crown or other symbol of royalty unless you can prove that you are royalty ..

i've been considering creating a sig for some time now, but the quality is in this forum is always beyond me, but - then my friend came over and his questions got me to get beyond casual thought. i considered this a push from the cosmos to get beyond my crayons...

Hi guyz....

Am new here, just attracted on your previous discussion on "Heraldry" , which most of your designs I find impressive

am not much of a computer geek but I suffer from an advance "heraldic insanity" meaning I practice heraldry in a professional level.

To Jung, a fellow Filipino please email me at jkgrupe@unionbankph.com I assume you are interested in Heraldry, I can share to you my knowledge in different heraldic customs, practice and rules that you will find useful in your artistic interest.

Anybody else interested just feel free to drop me a note.

V,

Sometimes when you find a crown in an armorial bearing it does not always means royalty. In German tradition some crown may mean that the bearer is a trournament faculty (i.e. Jousting )

bodhi23,

Drop me note on my email, tell me your surname then I will take a peek on my archive to see if your family is "armigerous" (a term if a family owns a heraldic shield)
