To clarify what Emps said: I'm studying for my Ph.D. in classical Korean literature (translating is what I do to put the rice on the table), which is why I can read [i]some[/i] Chinese (modern Korean literature doesn't really rely on written Chinese). However, mainland Chinese use abbreviated characters, while Koreans use the "full" versions, so some characters tend to throw me off. At any rate, I'm not as nearly proficient in Chinese as I am in Korean or English, and neither are most of the inmates here. So, ECLE, while we do appreciate your excitement, I'm sure everyone would be happier if you stuck with English, at least while you're here. Thanks. :) Loading...
