I hear the lead singer of Nickleback had someone stopped a gig because someone flipped him the bird and had the person thrown out which isn't very 'rock'. How you remind me was big here but it was pitched in a way that it would touch those kind of nerves in most people. The lead singer did 'Hero' from the new Spiderman film and although I've only heard snatches of it but that won't stop me from thinking it is pretty dire. The whole thing about this band strikes me that they have been carefully targetted to be a bit hairy and edget enough to make people into rock listen to them but bland enough that they appeal to aging professionals (esp. advertising executives) but perhaps I'm being cynical - I quite liked how you remind me - it sort of reminded me of a girl I once knew sort of. |

nickleback hurts my ears, and I hear it all the time in my local metal station which hurts even more, personally I don't like them and I think they are highly over-rated, which is why the deserve a place in TRL |

nickleback sucks. the only thing that sucks more than nickleback is when the lead singers from nickleback and saliva get together and do a tune for the spiderman sountrack. hero, if it isnt allready making your ears bleed daily on your local radio then wait five minutes, it will. around here you can skip around through all the major stations and hear both of the aformentioned multiple times per day. on occasion you can even catch the same song at almost the same place on two different stations. i am all for canadian bands making it big but it would be nice to have a day when i didnt have to hear it. |

There's not a lot of music out there these days, American, Canadian or what have you that I find at all entertaining. If it's not redundant, it's already been done better. |

Bodhi: I havn't taken the time to play any of the MP3's on the site, but if you like the rap/rock/reggae/everything hybrid, then I would suggest checking out Sublime, they have a diverse range of music. |

Well, I just got back from the Propaghandi show, an anti-G8 show actually (I like the music, not the message) featuring Propaghandi as well as three other bands (Mico, Nucklehead, and another which I cant think of the name). |

Dan - Thats cool. You ever hear any I-Spy stuff? That's the band Propagandi's new bassist used to be in. They are pretty good, it's just real hard to get any of their stuff, besides a split they did with Propagandhi a long time ago. |
