What ever happened with this? The article was written in May, so that means that the lady should be having her baby sometime in December, at least I think so. Does anyone know of any more recent articles on this?

I haven't heard anything. It's... interesting and frightening at the same time. I'll admit to anxious curiosity about the outcome but I don't know if I can handle the global reaction.

It's about bloody time. Cloning will have enormous benefits for the entire world. Just as long as they do a "Mini-Me" style clone of me. You wouldn't be able to see the darn thing!

Hey isnt Bush against cloning?

He is against cloning. Currently, it's illegal to clone. BUT that has never stopped the scientific community before. And everyone really wants to know what it would be like anyway, so why not? I'm not surprised. Saddened, but not surprised.

This is serious. This first clone-baby will never, ever have a normal life. Someone will always have a camera on this child from the day they are born. You can't evaluate the true differences between a natural human child and a cloned human child because of this. It is purely and simply wrong to clone a human in this manner. (Equally wrong to do it to a sheep, but they aren't as attentive to the outside interference...) A child born simply to be a scientific experiment... Think about it for a while.... Makes me shudder....

Yeah bodhi you are damn right....kinda sad..but somehow I myself getting more and more seperated from religeons....I dunno but its just facts to me start to make more sense than anything else...weird feelings man.....well if you read bible cerefully it said that Eve was created from Adam's womb huh? well and the girl was created from woman's skin makes sense to me....another thing is that I somehow start to believe that our mind is such a powerful thing that it can make anything to happen...hey afterall we use only 10% or less of our brain.....in other words it seems religeons are simply made to explain unexplainable....but through time we find the answears to many things we though were magic or something like that....well religeon says that only humans have souls but no one else.....now that doesnt make any sense to me...after all we are the same organic matters as everything else, so that basicly makes clone a normal human to me......well I dont know f there is god or not....now that I grow up the questions get more complicated....if there was god why would he want us to such a dumbasses like the rest of those idiots fanatics who dont question or try to acknowledge anything?...well I dunno..................................

Ohh and guys have any of you heard that there was some dude in brazil who believed in Jesus so much that the hole in his palm opened up and started bleeding without stopping...I heard there was an evidence and pictures taken......but dude jesus' palms were not poked...it was poked near his hands at the bottom of the arms huh......well what it leads me to is mind as I said if you really believe in something so much you can make it happen..........
