When I and my wife-to-be first moved in together, we made a deal: she gets pets and I get to name them. Fair deal. There has been Loki, Phoebe, Grendel the Catslayer, Jingo, and Sabrina de Gato. (Later, due to a little girl named Daniel, Grendel became Buttmuncher.)

Our five year-old got a hamster today. She named her hamster Ham. :yech: Just plain sick and wrong.

My name for the new hamster is Death by Chocolate.

Let the war begin!

I'd consider naming my child that... Death by Chocolate...

Thanks, NJ. I do feel better knowing that.

The 5 year-old niece spent the night last night. The Freakin' Heathens, niece + daughter, are driving me nuts with the Hamtaro theme song. "My best friend..."
I've never been so close to using the duct tape.
Various other threats as well.

Speaking of names, what about Cosmo for a little boy? When Woman was pregnant with the second one, we went 'round and 'round about that one. Cosmo is a good name. Sneakers, Seinfeld, and Fairly Odd Parents. It's a good, solid name. So we had a daughter and named her Chasie Lane. Woman doesn't mind that name for a daughter, but she's dead set against Cosmo for a boy. Figger that out.

This definitely falls under "other Silliness".
Can you tell the Freakin' Heathens are driving me nuts?
