Her "joke" was incredibly stupid considering the politically correct climate in which we all live. However, it was hardly demeaning to anyone. It was based in stereotype and one I suspect is not far from statistical basis. I was surprised that *she* of all people told it though. You would think that a person of the left like Hillary would be far more sensitive to her audience than that. |

It is precisely because there are so many double standards in the way racism is perceived that I think you would *never* hear her say something about MLKJR. Besides the hypothetical you give is far more derrogatory than associating Indians with gas station ownership. |
