I have found that keeping the images saved from each serve, helps in keeping the file size down. Because I do not have to send any hidden layers on each serve, safe in the knowledge that if my partner in the game, wants to re-use a layer from an earlier serve they can take it from the image saved earlier.
I'm looking forward to see how this game develops
