I'm looking to redesign my sister's table-based blog, and she wants a picture of a white lily on it. The current version, which I made a long time ago, is at http://kathleenie.blogspot.com/ . I want to keep the same look of the page, but I don't want to re-save that jpeg image of the lily or it'll get really ugly.

I was wondering if anyone here has any white lily's around and would like to arrange one like it's shown on the page there, and photograph it for me? Just a desktop-sized high quality jpeg image would do, preferably with a neutral, solid color background that it would be easy to cut out from.

I tried images.google.com and came up with a couple half decent images, but I was hoping for something closer to what's on the page right now.

Can anyone help me out? I have no idea how easy lily's are to find. =)

I have a calla lily. If you don't find one I'll get one and do a photo for you. Just tell me what size you need

I got one for you. Give me a couple hours to scan it and post it.

Is a calla lily white? =) I'll wait and see how mobrul's picture turns out and decide whether or not I want/need another one.

Don't give up on Shi yet. Her photography kung fu is infinately better than mine.
Without further ado, I present for your use, The Lily.

This is an excerpt from my photo I final.
Pros:
I got an A on my final
Cons:
It's b&w
It was only photo I

I can give you the entire photo in psd file if you wish, but the background is not 'simple'.
Use shi's; it's not going to hurt my feelings in the least.

I was browsing my archives and found this shot:

It's not an entirely white lily but close. I plan on using a cut out version of it for Wella's flower business web site but you are more than welcome to use it too.

Sorry it took so long to get back to this.

Honestly, I was looking for something closer to the original than those pictures. Mobrul, yours is at about the right angle, but it's too blurry/grainy, and there's no color. Bug's is also good, but the petals are spotted, which doesn't seem right, and some parts of it are covered by other flowers, and the angle is a little too head-on. Nonetheless, thank you both for your time uploading the pictures and all.

I'm looking for something arranged very much like the version that's currently on the site, so that I can do the same sort of arrangement with it (putting the stem behind the dark blue with the petals in front of it, so that it's sort of facing up and to the left, not straight at the camera).

Shi, perhaps you could take that picture? Any desktop size is fine - go for 1024x768 if that's convenient. Try to copy the version currently on the page.

Thanks everyone.
