I'll try to explain how I do it, however, I'm very tired so if I leave something out or you have questions just drop me a note. I save the color photo with it's own file name. I make a b/w copy with a new file name. I then layer the b/w over the color photo. I erase the area I want to the color to show through. I usually do this at a low level so it's not such a punch of bright color. I then merge the layers and save with a new file name. That's about it....
