OK, I've looked back throught the archives and I don't think we've had this yet, so this week's subject is 'silhouette'.

A few guidelines:
1. Photo needs to go along with the subject in some way.
2. Use thumbnails for photos with any dimension larger than 450 px or over 40 kb.
3. Post as many as you want.
4. At the end of the week the person who chose the topic will pick someone to choose the next topic. This isn't a "winner," just someone who gets to suggest the next topic.
5. No critiques (unless requested) this is just to share our photos.
6. No sigs.

What a nice topic. I don't imagine that this will become a trend, but to kick things off for this week here is a picture I took at Warwick Castle, England, in 1994. I spent a semester there, and this is probably one of my favorite photos from that time. It was in the evening, and we were leaving the castle, and I stopped to take this when the sun was right behind the keep tower. It may not be much technically speaking, but I've always kind of liked it.

Warwick Castle

[Edit: Well, so much for kicking things off. Beautiful pic, Shii. I'm kind of embarrassed to have posted this now.]

Nice shot Suho, I've been to Warwick Castle a couple of time but never had a camera with me. Beautiful setting sun Shiii' are those Palm trees framing the shot? I like your clouds Frank', I could spend my life photographing sunsets.
The clouds on one of these pic's have come in handy for use on other photos in the past. This is the first time I have used the photo "as is".

Thank you Taobaybee. Yes, those are palm trees. This was taken at the bay right off the beach in Florida.

OK, my first actual submission to anything photorelated.

Sunrise over St.Maarten.

Oh, love the clouds pic's.
Sunrise on the atlantic
clouds (not really silhouette
I kind of like the last pic, since the right side of it is almost all b/w due to the oncoming storm.

Oh, even if crossing the atlantic sounds like a great photo-opportunity.. forget it. 14 days of water...

Some beautiful shots, and I the lightning pictures are excellent, but I think the most interesting silhouette shape is the Seattle Gasworks, so over to you frankacaba.
