I am looking to purchase this Canon EOS Rebel Ti for Christmas and was wondering if there is a lens that I should buy to do macro shots? I'm only going to have about $100-$200 left after I buy the camera...

For the money you referenced I don't think you'll get much in the lines of a good macro lens. If macro work is a priority for you I'd recommend either saving up more cash or starting off with some close up filters for your 28-90. You might be able to get an extension tube for that, which is something on my wish list. They go between the lens and camera and derease the close focus distance. Very nice to have and works with all your lenses.
