asptamer- Thanks. The frost pattern was courtesy of mother nature. The photo was taken looking out a north facing window in the morning. The blue color is from the sky and the browns are from the winter grass. As I recall I had to angle the cam down somewhat to get the blue from the sky which made a tripod mandatory since I needed a long exposure to keep everything sharp that close. Snow ~does~ look like sand if you look closely. Moreso when it's really cold. The warm tone throws people off I think, but I liked it better warm than cool so I gave it the sepia. The shot was just a good exposure shot directly toward the sun more or less. Levels, curves, sharpen, desaturate, sepia.. yup, that sums it up. CRO8- thanks too. :)
