First thing you should know is that I'm talking 'dial up' connection at 56k. Faster is not in the cards.

2nd... and I'm not sure how this might come into play... but I'm in Canada.

Presently I go thru one company (Telus) for all telecommunications. Local calls, there's no choice, but in everything else it's a wide open market, Internet, long distance cel-phone etc. But again I go thru one company for everything. Now tho' I'm taking a look a various companies that offer, in addition to lower long distance rates... lower Internet rates for unlimted hours.

Anyone here use that type of package? Long distance and Internet wrapped into one?

Gotta admit I'm a bit skeptical. Any really *bad* experiences?
What questions should I be asking?
I don't want to make the big switch if all it means is fewer dollars but a less than reliable connection to the net.

'Your' experiences will be greatly appreciated.

Well, I use a crummy ISP here in Oregon but I know ATT is offering an all-in-one package. Maybe someone here uses that?

Yeah, I do. Unfortunately for you, I live in Germany. And I don't think you can get it there, wherever you are. It's called 'T-Online'.
