Preserved Topic: Greetings and many props (Page 1 of 1)

I promise to include more content in this post then "um, I'm new." Allow me to introduce myself. I just got hired as a web designer in Tennessee, where I have a wife and one month old baby. I dig cybernetics, synergetics, d. hofstadter, w. gibson, r. zelazny... and photoshop.

Anyway. I just got hired as a web designer. I'm truly excited to finally have a place to spend all day getting better. I'm not the best at photoshop, but I feel like with the help of people here and my new job, I'll be on track to master it some day.
Many props to the Doc. Hey, man! I've been visiting your site for YEARS, trying to climb that curve with your help and others (qvickers, infinitefish, etc).
I love this forum - I've been reading it for a while and finally made a sig so I can post (Is it too large? I'll swap to my smaller version if so).

The 2 images are very nice, only concern is with the first one (correct link is http://enharmonic.net/metahedron/metatrans.jpg - At least, I think thats what he wants us to look at). The colored lines are distracting, and draw my attention away from the center part.

Everything is very nicely done, however. Good wrok!

Yes, the background for http://enharmonic.net/metahedron/megatrans.jpg is garbage. I've tried fractals, gradients, just plain black.. I can't decide what to put there. Thanks for the comments (and compliment). Hopefully this sig is more reasonable.
