Preserved Topic: Fun Web Game

I've been fighting a flu bug the past few days do I don't know if this is meds talking or what, but I've been playing this really fun game called CashWars. The premise of the game is that you can dig and steal to find Akzar cash, then at the end of the month cash out for real money(The tag line is; fight steal, get rich). Personally, I think it's bunk, but I've only been playing for a few days, maybe it could happen for real. What you really do is click around, find oil fields, dig for oil barrels, and buy more stuff to dig in mountains to find cash and prizes and steal from other peoples bases. All the while trying to keep people from stealing from you. I've been having a blast, and I've got my wife hooked on it. We had a fun discussion over dinner about the game, talking about things we've found, the silly saying people put on the bases, etc.. It's not a game with tons of graphics or loads of options, it's really straightforward, and kinda plain, but fun in the style of the older games.

As for your base coordinates, log back onto CashWars, click the big enter button, the next page will be your base. In the lower left-hand corner will be your coordinates. Mine are 317S 29E.

Hey...if you mark a location, how do you access that marked location?

BTW: How many locations can you mark, cause I've been marking every base, mountain and oil field I come accross, so if I can only mark one location, I've just lost my base.

There are only a limited number of locations you can mark, to check your marked locations access your base and click on the marked locations link. It is best to mark the oil fields, mountains, and trading posts, and the bases will be mobile in the future. You will only find oil 40% of the time, in other words you won't find oil 60% of the time. That medium drill makes a huge difference, I got over 500 barrels yesterday, today I'm hoping to get the drilling rig. Then I'm gonna get the CAR system. Onward and upward, I'm having fun, but it's back to work tomorrow. I still plan on playing in the evenings tho.

How do you upgrade this stuff? How do you dig in the mountains? What does cCAR stand for? Questions, questions, questions.

Hey, I found enough oil to buy a shovel finally! Doesn't seem to help much, but now I can dig in a mountain and find nothing at all, woo!

You up grade stuff by trading oil barrels in at the trading posts. The CAR system is a level 9 fortification item. Makes your base very strong.

It is very rare to find things in the mountains. That is where the prizes are, and there is a very small amount of prizes less, than 10 per month I believe. It's tedious to build up in the begining, but I'm still having fun. Maybe I'm just sick of the flashy games that are out now, and have a nostalgia for the old Com64 type games.

I've been getting stonger and stealthier and building up my security and fortification, I've begun attacking some of the smaller bases and collecting cash. I made 2 Akzar dollars yesterday. Of course I've 19 feul cells, and with that I can keep CashWars open while I work and make moves all day long.

How'd you get 19 fuel cells? I started playing, I got like 200 barrels the first time. Is that good?

I got 19 fuel cells by signing up for the offers at the fuel cell upgrade. It takes like 48hours for the cells to activate. The nice thing about the sign-ups are that they will send you a notice that you signed up, and you can use that message as a filter to route other mail from them right to the trash.
200 oil barrels is good. When I got that far I bought the Medium drill, and then saved up for the drilling rig. You still only find oil 40% of the time, but you can get up to 30 barrels. (Not everytime sometimes you only get 3 or so barrels.) After I got the rig I started upgrading my other stuff.

I've been playing the game in computer class. I have the drilling rig and the most advanced security thingy. W00t!

I've got level six in everything, and I did have over $15 but I got attacked and I'm under $10 now.
I just posted a message in Comm Center of our MDN, we've got a few new members.

I applied for all the extra few cells deals. I cant wait till I have more turns. 200 turns simply isnt enough.

I checked the site out real quick, but I haven't played... yet. It sounds more intriguing and fun that I had first thought. Maybe this weekend...

Anyways, I like their little "CASH WARS" text logo. There's just something about it that I like.
