I need ideas for a logo that I have to do. It needs to be roleplaying flavor and pertain to mythical medieval look.

Oooh OOhh I know: you could make something with like a mythical, medieval kinda look to it!

I think it should have a roleplaying flavor to it too...

well apart from the obvious responses so far.. I would try and combine a castle scene with some vines, moss etc, perhaps a waterfall coming over the rampars, and maybe some medieval armour or the likes embedded in the walls of the castle.. or something similar... also you could try and merge into it a few of the the characters overlaid uopn the castle/ perhaps old brick/stone work.. see where I am going?.. just throwing out some thoughts.. hope it gives you an idea.. maybe!

hmm I think you should go in a completely opposite direction and make an industrial looking logo ...

I don't suppose you could mention what this art is meant to be for? I wouldn't want to pry or anything ...

If you want some good ideas, I would go to a book store and check out the fantasy section. Lots of great rtists doing nothing but book covers, never seen on the web, weird. For some reason, I would think that one of the most basic elements would be the rampart castle walls, with nifty crenellations. Seen from below, with nice 3 point perspective. Another all too basic element is the crossed weapons, as in a coat of arms. I'm also picturing Frazetta's work, with Conan perched atop the pile of dead orc bodies, sword (or axe) raised, and scantily clad beaty cowering at his feet, clinging to him for protection. (Rampant clichés I know, but what the hey? :-)

Is this a logo for an online thingy? If so, I'd do a stylized shield, with some kind of basic fantasy image on it (probably in a silhouette), over the top of that, I'd make a fade-out scan-line pattern (yeah cheesy, but I think in this case it's work.). Behind the shield I'd have a sword, and a flail (you know ball & chain on a stick, my spelling sucks today) except instead of a ball on the chain, it'd be a mouse. Could look kinda neat.

This sounds like it could be fun and quick to make, maybe I'll give it a go and see what I come up with, maybe.
