I just bough ATI tv-wonder USB the $99 one, it has S-Video, composite and RF input, which is cool, but the uncool thing is that, the image color seem... hmmm, what's the word, it's like when displaying a 32-Bit based image with 256 color, so there are big squred pixels.
for those of you experienced users, do you recommand me to go get a PCI one?
I mean, what's the best TV-tuner out there?

thanx

They're all about the same. Keep in mind that a computer monitor is much higher resolution (usually) than a tv signal typically puts out.

For me - being in Canada and all - it's not worth the expense. I debated getting a TV tuner card for months. They're all up around $350 here. Ended up buying a 19" tv for $249 instead. Can't argue with that.

Though the software for that USB one is apparently pretty nifty.

$0.02.

The quality, which you can get from those cheap TV/capture cards is not very good (especially frame rate). You would need to have a semi-professional Miro product if you want to talk about video capture...

Anyway, I have a SONY KV-FQ75D 29" FD Trinitron WEGA TV (new SONY "Art Couture" line of products) and I'm very satisfied...
