Preserved Topic: Where is that picture??????????

Yes people's I am after another picture this time, for my folio of course! ! I am after a picture that was taken during the Vietnam War. The picture was taken on some road where all these people are running while in the middle there is this 9 y.o. naked girl who is crying but no one in the photo seems to take notice or care. Apparently this girl was naked because her clothes were burnt off from a Napalm Bomb explosion or something like that.
Does anyone know what I am talking about???!!! It is like one of those famous 20th Century photos. If anyone knows what I am talking about then you could tell me where on the net it is???

I don't recall the name of that particular photograph but it was very popular. A quick google search on Vietnam War Photography would probably turn it up.

InSiDeR: That Pulitzer Prize scares me too, but that photo says a1000 words about that war so it deserves to have some recognition for it.

I still remember the first time seeing that photo in my history class a few years ago and it still works up some sad, mixed up emotions in me.

That young lady now lives in Canada. Saw her interviewed 8-10 months ago. A very disturbing picture and the interview brought back some very disturbing memories.... tho' *she* seemed to be doing very well.

Well Luxo, it isn't exactly an obscure picture. Flip any high school US History textbook over to the chapter on the Vietnam War and there you go.

I found it fairly quickly Luxo. Google rocks. I searched under the terms pulitzer vietnam war. It probably helped that I remembered it winning the pulitzer. But even so, judicious use of keywords in a google search usually do the trick for me.

Dont forget theres a *reverse* pov image, which is equally horrific IMHO
